Dümmen Orange is the global leader in floricultural breeding with operations across 5 continents, a frontrunner position in advanced breeding technologies, the broadest assortment and the largest international network. Dümmen Orange was carved-out from Kirin Holdings (JP). The strategy was focussed on floricultural breeding and all non-core activities were divested. The company then initiated a successful global buy-and-build program, realizing nine add-on acquisitions. Under H2 ownership, the business tripled in size. Dümmen Orange was sold to BC Partners (UK) which continued the buy-and-build strategy.
