Our investment
We carved out Dümmen Orange from Kirin Holdings in 2010 and transformed it into a focused floricultural breeding business by divesting non-core activities and investing in management, organisation, and R&D. Together with the team, we initiated and executed a successful global buy-and-build programme with nine add-on acquisitions, tripling the size of the company and establishing it as the clear market leader in its field. Dümmen Orange was acquired by BC Partners in 2015, which continues to support the company’s international growth and innovation strategy.
