Halex is a German industrial group active with two divisions: the manufacturing of extrusion dies for the aluminium industry, and steel hardening and treatment services. The company has a comprehensive portfolio of highly value-added services for mission critical components used in various markets such as automotive, machine tooling, construction, aerospace and healthcare. Halex operates 12 sites in Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Romania. H2 acquired Halex out of insolvency. During H2’s ownership, Halex has benefited from a rebalancing of the central support functions, strong organic growth and performance improvement of the individual sites supported by growth enhancing investments. Several attractive add-on acquisitions were realized. The company has transformed itself into a market leading player with best-in-class systems and processes. Halex was sold to Bencis Capital Partners, which is supporting further development and growth.
